Private graveside services were conducted for Mrs. Willene Herrin Stephens of Collins, MS, formerly of Prentiss, this morning at 11:00 AM, March 28, 2022, at the Brady Cemetery in Prentiss. Her son, Mr. Craig Stephens and her sons-in-law, Mr. Ronnie Blackwell and Mr. Joe Daley officiated. Mrs. Willene Herrin Stephens was born on October 13, 1944, in Hattiesburg, MS to William Bennett and Elois Pace Herrin. She departed this life on March 25, 2022, at the Asbury Hospice House in Hattiesburg. She was 77 years of age. Mrs. Stephens graduated from Prentiss High School and Jones College. She was a homemaker and a retired nurse. She was also a Christian lady and a member of Victory Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Mack Stephens of Collins; son, Craig Stephens (Alexis) of Seymore, TN; daughters, Mischa S. Blackwell (Ronnie) of Hattiesburg and Kimberly S. Daley (Joe) of Bessemer, AL; Grandchildren, Lakyn Williamson (Kyle), Benjamin Stephens (Alex), Joseph Daley, Stephen Daley (Memorie), Alexa Blackwell, Claire Blackwell, Katya Blackwell and Bailey Blackwell; 1 great-grandchild, Lyla Grace Williamson; sisters, Norma Coulter, of Hattiesburg and Sue McArthur of Collins, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
