Walter Daley

Funeral services for Mr. Walter Daley will conducted Monday, November 15, 2021 at 11:00 AM at St. Peters Catholic Church in Bassfield. Interment will follow at St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Carson. Father Chinnappa Raj Marc will officiate. Mr. Daley, age 74, passed away Friday at his home in Bassfield, surrounded by those he loved. Saulters Moore Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Serving as Pallbearers are Jason Kerley, Jonathan Kerley, Denny Daley, Noel Skinner, Heath Skinner and Robert Carr. Mr. Daley was born on April 28, 1947 in Bassfield, MS to Chris and Ruth Terrell Daley. Walter worked as a Journeyman Pipefitter/Welder with Local 713. He was also a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus. In addition, Walter had a passion for his grandchildren and enjoyed attending their sporting events. He was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church in Bassfield. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of over 50 years, Rachel H. Daley of Bassfield; 1 son, Bryan Daley of Purvis; 2 daughters, Lori Bartran (Daniel) of Ellisville, MS and Jessica Cochran (Sandy) of Laurel, MS; 1 brother, John Daley of Bassfield; 1 sister, Patricia Harrington of Bassfield and 6 grandchildren, Jared Daley, Ethan Daley, Taylor Daley, Lila Bartran, Levi Cochran and Daley Cochran. A Rosary will be held Sunday evening at 5:30 PM at St Peters Parish Hall with visitation following until 8:30 PM.
