Funeral services for Theresa Halbert will be held at 11:00 AM on Sunday, December 13, 2020 at Phalti Baptist Church. Mrs. Halbert, age 59, passed away from this life on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at her residence in Mt. Olive. Reverend Wade Mathis, Reverend Billy Bridges and Reverend Jeff Davis will officiate. Interment will be at Phalti Baptist Church Cemetery. Saulters Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.. Pallbearers will be Bob Louviere, Quinten Chrisian, Kyle Mathis, Chris Griffith, Jeff Davis, Denny Guy. Theresa Halbert was born on March 6, 1961 in Prentiss to Walter Mathis and Nollie C. Butler Mathis. Mrs. Halbert was a secretary for Farm Bureau Insurance. She was a member of the Phalti Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her mother and father; 2 brothers, Jimmy Mathis and Alton Mathis; 1 nephew, Reginald "Reggie" Butler; and 1 great-nephew, Jacob West. Mrs. Halbert is survived by the love of her life, Charles Halbert of Clem; 2 daughters, Kristy Smith of Clem and Whitney Gray of Taylorsville; 3 granddaughters and 1 great- grandson; her step-father, Vernon Butler; 2 sisters, Kathy Lytle (Dennis) of Lone Star and Doris Temple (Billy) of Columbia;1 brother, Terry Mathis (Sherry) of Clem; 3 half-sisters, Tera Butler of Clem, Margaret Ann Spillman of Seminary and Cathy Lynn Lee of Collins; 2 half-brothers, Joseph Mathis and Paul Mathis of Collins.
