Teresa "Terry" Goodman Bridges

Funeral services for Teresa "Terry" Goodman Bridges will be conducted at 10:00 AM Monday, December 2, 2024, at Saulters Moore Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Scott Lucky officiating, assisted by the Reverend David Millner. Interment will follow in the Whitesand Cemetery. Mrs. Bridges, age 62, entered into the eternal rest of her Lord Wednesday morning, November 27, 2024, at her home in Clinton, MS. Saulters Moore Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening, December 1, 2024, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Saulters Moore Funeral Home.

Terry will be carried to her final rest by those honored to serve as pallbearers; they include Brian Pace, Nicholas Pace, Brenton Pace, Jason Bridges, James Bridges and  Kaitlynne Pace.

Terry was born to Thomas and Lillie Moseley Goodman on March 15, 1962, in Hopewell, VA. She graduated from Zachary High School in Zachary, LA, and received her Engineering Degree from Louisiana State University in 1985.

In 1985, Terry began her engineering career with Barksdale AFB in Shreveport before transitioning to the US Army Corps of Engineers in Vicksburg in 1994. In 1997, she began a 27-year career as an engineer with the US DOT Federal Highway Administration in Jackson, MS. She had a deep commitment and love for her work. Aside from her career, Terry loved to visit with the grandchildren, sew, and cook. A talented seamstress, she enjoyed monogramming as well as making clothes for her grandbabies. She also loved preparing meals for her family and will long be remembered for her homemade Macaroni and Cheese and Chicken Broccoli Divan, just to name a few of her specialties. Terry was an active member of Parkway Baptist Church in Clinton.

Terry is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Lillie Goodman of Zachary, LA.

Her memory will forever be cherished by her husband, Curtis Wayne Bridges of Clinton, MS, and 5 children, Brian Pace, of Middlesex, NC, Brenton Pace of Brandon, MS, Nicholas Pace of Bellevue, NE and Kaitlynne Pace of Woodbury, TN and Jason Bridges of Prentiss, MS.  Terry is survived by 9 grandchildren, Berlynne Pace, Christopher Pace, Jax Abney, Apollo Freeman, Liam Pace, Amelia Pace, Asher Bridges, Sage Bridges and Kaden Bridges.  

She is also survived by 4 siblings; Susan Vaughn of Fork Union, VA, Debbie Millner of Orange, TX, Wayne Goodman of Godley, TX and Lisa Day of Zachary, LA.
