Funeral services for Sam “Sambo” Saulters will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, January 24, 2020 at Santee Baptist Church. Mr. Saulters, age 60, passed away from this life on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at his residence in Prentiss, MS.  Reverend Brad Roberts will officiate.  Interment will follow at the Saulters-McRaney Cemetery on Saulters Road in Prentiss, MS. Pallbearers will be; Joseph King, Jeff Saulters, Terry King, John Dyess, Buster Walden and Dennis Boleware. Saulters Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Sam “Sambo” Saulters was born October 4, 1959 in Prentiss, MS to James Saulters and Christine Moore Saulters. Mr. Saulters was a contractor in the flooring business. He was a member of Santee Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his mother and father and 1 brother, Hank James Saulters. Mr. Saulters is survived by his wife of 33 years, Cathleen Saulters of Prentiss; 1 daughter, Tasha LeAnn Saulters of Jayess; 2 sisters Hilda Faye King (Joe) of Collins and Joyce Nell Cook (John) of Prentiss; 1 brother, Clinton Saulters (Marie) of Sumrall; 8 Nieces and 5 Nephews.
