Mr. Alexander was born on September 29, 1947, in McComb, MS to Bennie and Mildred Leonard Alexander. A United States Air Force veteran, he and his wife, Virginia, married soon after his discharge from the military. After living in Texas for a short period, the couple moved back to Mississippi, where they reared their children. Mr. Alexander was a hard-working man who was a loving husband and father to his wife and children. After living in Pearl for several years, Ronnie and Virginia moved back to the family roots of the Shivers community, where they enjoyed being semi-retired.
