Robert "Joe" Barrett

Graveside services for Mr. Robert "Joe" Barrett will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at Greens Creek Cemetery in Carson, MS with the Rev. Eddie Hartfield officiating. Saulters-Moore Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Joe was born on September 30, 1962 in Marion County, MS to Louis and Hazel Dyess Barrett. He passed away Monday, May 17, 2021 at the Marion General Hospital in Columbia, MS. Joe was a member of the Jackson, MS Police Department for over 20 years. In addition, he held a passion for the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He was a Baptist. He leaves to cherish his memory 2 sons; Clint Barrett and Chase Barrett, both of the home. He is also survived by the mother of his children; Janice Barrett of Byram, MS. He was preceded in death by his parents; Louis Lane and Hazel Christine Barrett. There will be no prior visitation; the graveside service will begin promptly at 11:00 am.
