Ray Broome

Graveside services for Mr. Ray Broome will be held at 11:00am Tuesday, January 22, 2019, at the Bethel Cemetery in Sumrall. Mr. Broome, 73, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2019, at his residence in Sumrall. Interment will be in the Bethel Cemetery. Saulters Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Ray Broome was born November 18, 1945 in Jefferson Davis County to Homer Olice Broome and Dorothy Christine Blackwell Broome. Mr. Broome was a long time employee of the Orleans Furniture Company in Columbia. He was of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by his father, Homer Olice Broome. Mr. Ray Broome is survived by his mother, Dorothy Broome of Sumrall; 2 brothers, Harold Broome of Petal, and Jerry Broome (Christine) of Villa Rica, GA; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
