Quinton Nelson

Funeral services for Quinton Nelson will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Saulters Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Nelson, age 73, passed away from this life on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at his residence in Carson.  Reverend Benji Sessums will officiate.  Interment will follow at the Blount Cemetery in Carson. Saulters Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Quinton Nelson was born September 9, 1946 in Brookhaven, MS to Joseph William Nelson and Lela Coulter Nelson. Mr. Nelson was an industrial welder in manufacturing, last employed by Mississippi Tank Company. He attended Carson Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his mother and father and 1 brother, Joseph Nelson. Mr. Nelson is survived by his wife of 23 years, Max Nelson of Carson; 2 step-sons, Macky Lott (Amanda) of Ovett and Dusty Lott (Tracy) of Mt. Olive; 1 brother, Kenneth Larry Nelson (Sharon) of Collins; 1 sister, Norma Jean Mauldin of Sumrall and 1 sister-in-law, Pearl Nelson of Sumrall.
