Pauline "Polly" K. Lundy

Funeral services for Mrs. Pauline King Lundy will be held 3:00 pm Wednesday afternoon, June 9, 2021 at Saulters Moore Chapel. Rev. Tim Beard will officiate. Interment will follow in Dublin Cemetery in Prentiss, MS. Polly, age 90, passed away Saturday afternoon, June 5, 2021 at Covington County Hospital in Collins, MS. Pallbearers will be, Dr. Martin Harvey, Caleb Williamson, Bob Shoemake, Roman Shoemake, Bobby Knight and Chris Graves. Polly was born September 2, 1930 in Jefferson Davis County. She was the daughter of the late John C. and Annie Kirkley King. Polly was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for over 70 years. In addition to working at Daniel's Dry Goods for over 20 years, she also worked for Danny's Fried Chicken, MaLadys Dress Shop and Bryant's Deli in Seminary. Polly was a member of Dublin Baptist Church. Mrs. Lundy leaves behind 1 son; Keith Lundy (Debbie) of Collins, MS, and one adopted son; Joe Hutchins of Prentiss. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Lundy; a Son, Wayne Lundy; her Granddaughter, Kayla Lundy; 7 Brothers and 2 Sisters. Visitation is Wednesday afternoon, June 9, 2021, beginning at 1:00pm until service time at Saulters Moore Funeral Home. Saulters Moore Funeral of Prentiss, MS is in charge of arrangements.
