Martha "Jukie" Shivers

Funeral services for Martha Ann "Jukie" Stringer Shivers will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 28, 2021, at Saulters Moore Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Shivers, age 58, passed away from this life on Tuesday , August 24, 2021 at her residence in Florence, MS. Reverend Billy Bridges will officiate. Interment will follow in White Sand Cemetery. Saulters Moore Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Serving as Active Pallbearers are Adam Prine, Stephen Jones, Justin Young, Wade Evans, Brady Allen and Wade Barr. "Jukie" was born on December 4, 1962 in Prentiss, MS to Charles Stringer and Annette Baker Stringer. Jukie was a homemaker and was known as an outstanding cook. She enjoyed her grandchildren and keeping up with family and friends on Facebook. Jukie was a member of Whitesand Baptist Church. Mrs. Shivers was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Annette Stringer. She is survived by her husband, Bill Shivers of Florence; 1 son, Christopher Griffith of Prentiss; 1 sister, Connie Stringer of Prentiss; 3 grandchildren Natalie Griffith, Caylea Ledet and Landon Ledet. Jukie also leaves behind 6 aunts, Winnie Blanton, Betty Horning, Janice "Tootie" Allen, Patricia McKinzie, Joann Smith and 1 uncle, Charles Baker. Visitation will be Friday evening, August 27, 2021 from 6:00 pm until the 8:00 pm at Saulters Moore Funeral Home.
