Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret A. Cole will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at Calvary United Pentecostal Church in Jayess. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Reverend Elliott Rutland will officiate; assisted by Reverend Zachary Taylor and Mrs. Candace Ladisky. Visitation will be Tuesday evening at Calvary United Pentecostal Church; friends may call from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Mrs. Cole entered into the eternal rest of her Lord Saturday afternoon, February 26, 2022, at her home in Brookhaven. Saulters Moore Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. Margaret A. Cole was born on September 16, 1931, in Temple, TX to Alexander Hugh and Elizabeth Leggett Lindsey. For many years, she managed several Christian book stores. In her leisure time, Mrs. Cole enjoyed reading fiction and playing board games with her grandchildren, as well as working crossword puzzles. In her younger years, she also liked to cook and she also treasured her chihuahuas. Mrs. Cole attended the Calvary United Pentecostal Church in Jayess. Serving as Pallbearers are John Taylor, James Taylor, Zachary Taylor, Carter Ladisky, Clark Ladisky and Jerid Dunaway. Mrs. Cole was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson. Her memory will be forever cherished by her children, Lenee Brogden Taylor of Brookhaven, Dr. Craig Maples of Houston, TX, Stephanie Suzanne Roberts of Houston, TX; 4 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and a host of great-great grandchildren.
