Lisa Daniels Gibson was born on September 30, 1970, in Prentiss, MS to Robert T. and Jane Duncan Daniels. Lisa attended Lawrence County Academy and afterward, received her license to practice cosmetology. In 2016, she and her husband, Steve, moved their family to Dandridge, TN, where they spent many happy years raising their family. Lisa loved the Great Smokey Mountains and especially enjoyed the natural beauty of Cade's Cove. Anyone that knew Lisa agrees that she had a contagious personality which exuded love, care and warmth. Being a natural extrovert made her a natural fit for her career while in TN. For several years, Lisa was a familiar face at Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede as she welcomed guests from all over and made them excited to be attending the performance. She was also a member of the Dollywood Theme Park family and assisted her customers in selecting garments, along with accessories, at Dollies Closet, a clothing shoppe in the theme park. However, Lisa's greatest joy was being a devoted wife and mother. Whether it was cheering for Erica Grace as she performed in the Color Guard at football games, attending Devin's Archery Meets, or helping Alexis and Chloe focus on their education and career aspirations, there was no doubt that she was their greatest fan. Her family remarks that they especially looked forward to family gatherings at Christmas and Thanksgiving when they could all enjoy each other's company...and Lisa's famous Gumbo and Apple Dumplings. Lisa's memory will live on through the many lives she touched while here on earth and she will be greatly missed. She was of the Baptist faith.
Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, Robert T. and Jane Daniels.
She leaves behind her husband, Stephen Gibson; 3 daughters, Alexis Gibson, Erica Grace Gibson, Chloe Gibson and her son, Devin Gibson, all of Dandridge, TN; 3 sisters, Rhonda Cliburn of New Hebron, Judy Deare of Ruth, Kathy Davis of Silver Creek and 2 brothers; Ronnie Daniels and Rev. Darel Daniels of Columbia.
