Linda Annette Hester

Funeral services for Mrs. Linda Annette Hester will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at Saulters Moore Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in the Brady Cemetery in Prentiss. The Reverend Willie Jones will officiate. Mrs. Hester, age 60, entered into the eternal rest of her Lord late Saturday evening at the St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. Linda Annette Hester was born on July 6, 1962 in Prentiss to Walter and Margaret Jones Bishop. After finishing high school in Prentiss, Linda married Kenneth Hester, Sr. They were married 41 years and to this union was born 3 children and a host of grandchildren. Sadly, Linda lost her daughter, Laura in 2014. She had a passion for working in her flowers and also enjoyed painting. Linda was a beloved wife and mother, but she especially loved being a grandmother and she adored her grandchildren. She also made many friends along the way during her working years, the last being at the Exxon Station in Prentiss. Linda was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Margaret Bishop, her daughter, Laura Saulters and also an infant granddaugher, Erin Hitchcock. Her memory will forever be cherished by her husband, Kenny Hester of Prentiss; a son, Kenneth Hester, Jr. of Prentiss; a daughter, Rachel Hitchcock of Ellisville; 3 sisters, Myrtis Bishop-Craig of Rossville, GA, Margaret Bishop, Betty Robbins of Bassfield and 1 brother, Ray Bishop of Mendenhall. The legacy of their Grandma will also live on through the grandchildren she loved so much, Clayton Watts, Amber Vannorman, Alexis Hester, Kenneth Hester, III, Jenna Saulters, Kiley Lee and Autumn Messer. The family will receive friends on Tuesday at Saulters Moore Funeral Home, 1 hour prior to the funeral service from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM.
