J.D. Loar

Picayune, MS J.D. Loar     Funeral services for Mr. J.D. Loar will be held at 11:00am Wednesday, September 5, 2018, at the Saulters Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Loar, 89, passed away Sunday, September 2, 2018, at his residence in Picayune. Reverend Charles Burnham will officiate and interment will be in the Prentiss Cemetery in Prentiss, MS.   Saulters Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.   J.D. Loar was born September 7, 1928, in Missouri to Diamond Orin Loar and Katie Loar. Mr. Loar was a retired District Sales Manager for Quaker Oats Company. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.   He was preceded in death by his mother and father; 1 son, Richard Lester Loar; and 7 siblings.   Mr. J.D. Loar is survived by his wife of 45 years, Diane Holloway Loar; 2 sons, Joe Darnell Loar Jr. of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Orin David Loar of Hot Springs, Arkansas; 2 grandchildren; as well as a host of other family and friends.   Visitation will be Wednesday, September 5, from 10:00am to 11:00am at Saulters Funeral Home.
