Funeral Services for Mike Bridges will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 14, 2020, in the Saulters Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Bridges, age 96, passed away from this life on Thursday, November 12, 2020, in Hattiesburg. Dr. French Tripp will officiate and interment will be in White Sand Baptist Church Cemetery. Saulters Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be Stephen Jones, Colton Jones, Dean Banks, Joel Riels, Mike Bridges, Brad Bridges, Joey Bridges, and Chey Bridges. Henry Mike Bridges was born on July 8, 1924, in Jefferson Davis County to Frank and Anna Fortenberry Bridges. Mr. Bridges was a World War II Veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a farmer and a member of White Sand Baptist Church. Preceding Mr. Bridges in death were his mother and father; his wife, Louise Griffith Bridges; 3 brothers, Ben Bridges, Webb Bridges, and Howard Bridges; and 2 infant sisters. Survivors include 2 sons, Leslie Bridges (Judy) and Harold Bridges (Patricia), all of Prentiss; 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Evelyn Whitehead of New Hebron; as well as a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends. Visitation will be Saturday, November 14, 2020, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Saulters Funeral Home.
