Graveside private family services for Mrs. Lorraine Bass will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday, January 18, 2021 at the Bass Family Cemetery. Mrs. Bass, age 82, passed away from this life on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Merit Health River Oaks in Flowood. Saulters Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be Nick Nunley, Ben Nunley, Luke Nunley and Blake Bass. Lorraine Bass was born on June 11, 1938 in Carson to Elmo Hanegan and Marceline Daley Hanegan. Mrs. Bass was a homemaker. She was a Christian. She was preceded in death by her mother and father; husband, Jimmy; 1 son, Mark; 7 brothers and sisters. Mrs. Bass is survived by 2 sons, Chris Bass of Petal and James “Jimbo” Bass of Yellville, AR; 2 daughters, Lori Anne Nunley of Pensacola, FL and Kathy Batte of Collins; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Ivy Sylvest of Bassfield and Annie Laura Harrington of Bassfield; 1 brother, David Hanegan of Bassfield.
