Dennis Ray Daughdrill

Funeral services for Mr. Dennis Daughdrill will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at the Calvary Baptist Church in Silver Creek. Mr. Daughdrill, age 70, passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at his residence in Silver Creek, MS.  Reverend Trey Spangler, Reverend Mike Sutton and Reverend Thomas Thurman will officiate.  Interment will follow in the Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery.   Pallbearers will be, Zeno Cone, Joey Jackson, Mike Alexander, Bill Peeler, Larry Bass and Greg Hartzog.  Honorary bearers are the Calvary Baptist Church Men’s Sunday School Class.   Saulters Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.   Dennis Daughdrill was born on May 3, 1949 in Silver Creek, MS to Lemuel Daughdrill and Irene McNease Daughdrill. Mr. Daughdrill was an operator in a wood mill.  Mr. Daughdrill was a veteran of the U. S. Army.   He was a member and a Deacon of Calvary Baptist Church in Silver Creek.     He was preceded in death by his mother and father; 1 brother, Harold Daughdrill and 1 grandson, Devan Ard.   Mr. Daughdrill is survived by his wife of 48 years, Rosie Daughdrill of Silver Creek; 1 daughter, Christy Ard (Glenn) of Jayess; 1 son, Dennis Scott Daughdrill (Arlene) of Silver Creek; 5 grandchildren, Taylor Williams (Ross), Dakota Ard, Kaylee Daughdrill, Jacob Daughdrill and Rhett Daughdrill; and 1 sister, Mable Raybon of Pearl.   Visitation will be Monday, October 7, 2019 from 6:00pm until 9:00 pm at Saulters Funeral Home.   Online condolences and a guest registry are available at www.saultersmoorefuneralhome.com
