Deanie Hall Pruitt

Funeral services for Mrs. Deanie Pruitt will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, July 17, 2022 at Saulters Moore Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Methodist Church Cemetery in Prentiss. Reverend Billy Bridges will officiate. Mrs. Pruitt, age 57, passed away early Thursday morning after an extended illness at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS. Deanie was born on September 7, 1964 in Prentiss, MS to Grover and Gussie Ruth Ross Hall. After graduating high school, Deanie would go on to marry the love of her life, Chuck Pruitt. Together, they would enjoy 36 years of marriage before his passing in 2021. Over the years, Chuck and Deanie made priceless memories as they traveled out West on their Honda Goldwing Motorcyles, enjoying the sights of places like Colorado and Wyoming. She and Chuck also loved people and enjoyed making friends. For several years, Deanie and Chuck worked in Texas for the Pipeline and made several lifelong friends. Many happy hours were spent with the people they loved at NASCAR races at Talledega as well as TN Vols and New Orleans Saints Football games. Deanie will be missed by all that knew her. Deanie was preceded in death by her parents, Grover and Gussie Ruth Hall and her beloved husband, Charles O. "Chuck" Pruitt, Jr. Her memory will forever be cherished by her brother, Truett Hall (Belinda) of Prentiss; 2 sisters, Gayle Jones (Percy) of Dalonega, GA and Faye Mathison (Donald) of Pass Christian, MS; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charles and Carolyn Pruitt of Prentiss; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Doug and Peggy Calhoun of Prentiss. Deanie also leaves a host of nieces and nephews including Patrick Jones, Barrett Jones, Matt Mathison, Allie Ross Mathison, Jennifer Lockhart, Ross Hall and Cory Calhoun. The family will receive friends at Saulters Moore Funeral Home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Saturday evening, July 16, 2022.
