Darron Glen Bridges was born on February 5, 1965, in Jefferson Davis County to James Harold and Lynnie Abernathy Bridges. Darron was a twin and was born one minute after his brother, Aaron. He was the baby of the family and often reminded his siblings of that. Aaron and Darron shared an immense bond that continued throughout their adult lives.

Darron attended Prentiss High School and graduated in 1983. He worked as a maintenance technician and as a machine operator. When his health was better, he enjoyed fishing with his brother, Aaron, and his life-long friends, Chris Bass and Bubba Reynolds. He also enjoyed watching Ole Miss Rebel football games and socializing with his friends. In the last year, he lived a more secluded life, but found contentment with family, friends, and openly acknowledged his renewed relationship with the Lord.

Darron is preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy and Lynnie Bridges.

His memory will forever be cherished by his twin brother, Aaron (Fran) Bridges of Mendenhall, Marilyn (Tony) Bevill of Prentiss, and Billy H. (Vicky) Bridges of Prentiss; 3 nieces, Tobi Bridges Berry of Hattiesburg, Samantha Banks Morrow of Bozeman, MT, Hollie Bridges of Mendenhall and 1 nephew, Josh (Amanda) Banks of Hattiesburg. Darron also leaves behind his great-nieces, Carli (Darius) Autmon, Hannah (David) Barnett, Grayce McNabb, and his great-nephews, Connor Banks and Nathan Bridges.
