Funeral services for Mrs. Geneva Florazell "Dale" Tolleson will be conducted at 1:00 PM Saturday, March 26, 2022, at the First Pentecostal Church in Jackson, MS. Bishop Thomas L Craft, Reverend Greg Frazier, Reverend Hansel Stanley, Reverend Bruce Howell and Reverend Arlie Lilly will officiate. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Cemetery in Pearl, MS. Mrs. Geneva Florazell "Dale" Tolleson, age 93, entered into the eternal rest of her Lord Saturday morning, March 19, 2022, at the Edgewood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Byram. She was born in Union, MS on November 22, 1928, to George Walter and Geneva Davidson Bounds. Known to many as "Mamaw" or "Dale", she loved to meet new friends and never met a stranger. Dale had a unique way of meeting people and she always talked about her faith, how good God was and how good He had been to her. Dale loved to cook for others and would invite them over to enjoy her meals, especially after her beloved "T.W." passed away. She was also passionate about selling Avon, Stanley and Watkins products. In selling these products, she would find opportunities to tell about the saving Gospel of Acts 2:38. In witnessing, "It is for everybody", she would say. As a hobby, Dale also enjoyed canning pickles, jellies and relish. She also had a "green thumb" and enjoyed rooting flowers as a way of enjoying God's creation. She was preceded in death by her husband, T. William "T.W." Tolleson with whom she enjoyed 50 years of marriage; her son, Thomas Dale "Tommy" Tolleson, her parents and 2 brothers. Dale's memory will be forever cherished by her daughter, Barbara Ann Tolleson of Pearl, MS; daughter-in-law, Vicki Tolleson of Arlington, TX; her grandson, Chaden Tolleson (Jhenyfer) of Arlington, TX; 1 great-grandchild, Isabella Renee Tolleson, 3 sisters and of host of nieces and nephews. Serving as Pallbearers are Allen Tolleson, Michael Cothran, Malcolm Sumrall, Chaden Tolleson, Jamie Price and Lamar Ashley. Honorary Pallbearers include Dr. James Wallace, Dr. Mark Meeks, Dr. Daniel Venarske, Dr. Frazier Ward, Jimmy McDaniel, Bobby Stephens, Tony Barger and Herbert Bounds. Visitation The family will receive friends Friday evening, March 25, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and also Saturday from 12:00 Noon until the hour of service at 1:00 PM at First Pentecostal Church of Jackson, MS.
