Dale E. McPhail

Funeral services for Mr. Dale E. McPhail will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday morning, July 14, 2023, at Saulters Moore Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in Dublin Cemetery.  The Reverend Billy Bridges will officiate.  Mr. McPhail, age 56, passed away Saturday, July 8, 2023, in Jefferson Davis County.  Saulters Moore Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

The McPhail family will receive friends 2 hours prior to the funeral service on Friday, July 14, from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Saulters Moore Funeral Home.

Serving as Pallbearers are Ricky Holder, Rick Bridges, Sterling Tanner, Dillon Barnes, Hunter McPhail and Josh Turnage.

Dale E. McPhail was born on May 1, 1967 in Prentiss, MS to Thomas Edward and Ottie Carlo Delancey McPhail.  Dale, a former construction worker, will be remembered for his love of motorcycles.  In addition, he also enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as collecting arrowheads.  He was a member of Dublin Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Ottie McPhail.

He is survived by his son, Taylor Dale McPhail (Haley) of Bogue Chitto; his daughter, Elizabeth D. McPhail of Jayess; brothers, Thomas L. McPhail (Charlene) of Prentiss, Larry McPhail (Rose) of Silver Creek, Timothy L. McPhail (Lisa) of Prentiss; his sister, Stacy Stapleton (Clifton) of Prentiss and his grandchildren, Taislyn McPhail, Carter Watts, Remington Watts, and Adeline Little.  Mr. McPhail also leaves behind a host of extended family and friends.
