Graveside services for Mr. Joseph Cletus King will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at the Deen Cemetery in Bassfield. Mr. King, age 87, passed away from this life on Sunday, August 16, 2020 at his residence. Reverend Tom Jackson will officiate. Pallbearers will be; Jeremy Miller, Dustin Miller, Michael Dan Watson, Nathan Daley, Josh Daley and Britton Daley. Saulters Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Joseph Cletus King was born on February 9, 1933 in Jefferson Davis County, MS to Eva King. Mr. Cletus King was a veteran of the United States Army. He was the owner of Lakeside Auto Sales. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his mother and his wife, Evie Maxine Carr King. Mr. King is survived by his wife, Joni King of Bassfield; three sons, Joseph Gregory King, Anthony Scott King and Jonathan Wayne King all of Bassfield. Three daughters; Karen Diane Daley (Hal) of Carson, Terry Lynn Watson of Bassfield and Jennifer Renee Miller (Patrick) of Pass Christian. Seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
