Carson Monroe Sistrunk was born on December 16, 1997 in Flowood, MS to Dale and Darlene Sistrunk. He was called "best friend" by many. To Rachel, Tator and The Range family, he was "Padawan". To Clint and Paulina, he was "Brother" and "Baby" to his parents. Carson loved fishing and hunting. As soon as he was old enough, he would strap on his holster and guns and head out on his bike to hunt. One of the highlights for Carson was in March of each year. He and his Dad would get the barrels ready for hand grabbing fish in May. He did not give a thought to the cold water; but would jump in the water to put the barrels out. He was a joy and full of life. Carson loved unconditionally and never judged anyone. Tender hearted and ready to help everyone would best describe him. As a baby, Carson was dedicated to God and his parents are thankful for the 24 wonderful years of life that God gave them with Carson. Carson's mother remarks, "So, maybe in my mind, I want to think, God decided he wanted Carson to show him how to hunt and fish in heaven." He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Charles Sistrunk and his brother, Hunter Bryant Sistrunk. Carson's memory will forever be cherished by his parents, Dale and Darlene Sistrunk of Pearl; his brother, Clint (Paulina) Sistrunk of Ridgeland; paternal grandmother, Ardith Sistrunk of Jackson; maternal grandparents, Lynn and Margaret Dykes of Pearl and a host of extended family and friends.
