Funeral services for Billie Jean Watts Saul Carson Walley will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at Saulters Moore Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Walley, age 87, passed away from this life on Sunday morning, September 5, 2021 at The Myrtles Nursing Center in Columbia. Reverend Robert Sones and Reverend Buddy Keyes will officiate. Interment will follow in Prentiss Cemetery. Saulters Moore Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Serving as Active Pallbearers are Charles Martin, Jr., John Wesley Wood, Thomas Frederick Hull, David Christopher Hull, Josh Butler and Joseph Reider. Billie Jean was born on November 29, 1933 in Jefferson Davis county to Hiram and Roberta Speights Watts. She raised a loving family and also enjoyed sewing, travel, painting and flowers...especially red roses. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Sherman Watts and Rodney Watts; 3 husbands, James Leon Saul, Jr., Frank Holland Carson and Gavin Joseph Walley. She leaves behind 3 daughters, Billie Joyce Saul Martin (Charles), Frances Ann Carson Hull (James), Brenda Kay Carson Wood (James) and 1 son, Keith Carson (Melba). Left to cherish her memory are also 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday morning, September 7, 2021 from 9:00 am until the hour of service at Saulters Moore Funeral Home.
