A Graveside Service will be held at 9:00 am on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Crossroad Baptist Church Cemetery for Mrs. Tiny Raynes. Mrs. Raynes passed away from this life on Thursday, July 23, 2020 in Hattiesburg. She was 83 years of age. Reverend Eddie Hartfield will officiate. Burnice Lanelle "Tiny" Dyess Raynes was born in Jefferson Davis County on August 2, 1936 to Joel J. Dyess and Olive Pierce Dyess. Tiny was an all-star basketball player in high school and went on to marry the love of her life, FT Raynes and the two were married for 50 years. They enjoyed traveling to the mountains and were passionate members of Crossroads Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her mother and father; her husband, F.T. Raynes; her daughter, Myra Elaine Raynes; her beloved dog, Ginger; three sisters and two brothers. She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Hebert of Baker, LA; a son, Mark Raynes of Carson; four grandchildren, Jason Hebert, Tosha Head, Tara Hebert and Cassondra Bonds; 15 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and two sisters, Agnes Bahn of Carson and Phenie Stogner of Carson; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
