Barbara Shows

Barbara Ann Shows, age 81, of New Hebron, MS passed away May 18, 2021 at home. Barbara was born January 2, 1940 in White Sand, MS to Henry and Elma McNease. Visitation service will be 5:30 until 8:00 PM, Thursday, May 20, 2021 and memorial service will be, Friday, May 21, 2021 at 10:00 AM, both to be held at New Hebron Baptist Church. Reverend Mike Grenn and Reverend Gene Douglas will officiate. Interment will be at the New Hebron Cemetery. Saulters-Moore Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be, James Stuckey, Traylor Jackson, Tyler Shows, Cort Newson, Benjie Jackson and Ted Dearman. Barbara retired from Jefferson Davis Hospital in Prentiss, MS as Assistant Administrator after 40 years of service. She was a member of New Hebron Baptist Church. She was an instrument of God with a pure heart, renewed daily, that tenderly touched others in a special way. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Barbara is survived by her husband, Larry Shows of New Hebron; 1 daughter, Kendra Jackson (Benjie); 2 sons, Keith Shows (Mydonya) of New Hebron and Kirk Shows of Collinsville; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
