Jerome Myers

Memorial services for Anthony Jerome Myers will be conducted on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Saulters Moore Funeral Chapel. Reverend Derek Bruce will officiate. Anthony “Jerome” Myers went to be with Jesus Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at the age of 38. He was born to Tony Myers and Niki Rodriguez Berry on December 14, 1983, and at over two months premature, defied the odds with his strength from day one. He grew up and attended school in Bassfield and as an adult worked as a carpenter throughout south Mississippi and Louisiana. Jerome was a hard worker and was always willing to help others when needed. He was funny and loved to shock people with his off the wall comments. He was smart, very loyal, and resilient beyond comprehension. He was always willing to stand up for others, and when he loved, he loved hard. Jerome was preceded in death by his father, Tony Myers; stepfather, Phil Smith; paternal great grandparents, Reggie and Aileen Myers; paternal grandparents, Harold and Lois Myers; maternal grandparents Harold and Delia Daley and Herbert Rodriguez. He is survived by his mother, Niki Rodriguez Berry; brother, Chase Myers; sister, Hannah Smith Bruce (Derek); and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 8, 2022 from 1:00 PM until the hour of service at Saulters Moore Funeral Home.
