Edward W. Wisman

Funeral services with military honors were held Saturday, December 18, 2010 at Friendship Baptist Church for Mr. Edward Wisman, age 81, of Carson, MS who passed away December 16, 2010 at his residence. Interment followed at Friendship Cemetery. Rev. Mike Mitchell officiated. Saulters Moore Funeral Service of Prentiss was in charge of arrangements. Edward Wayne Wisman was born November 15, 1929 in Gainesville, Missouri. He was the son of Wayne Marvin Wisman and Deva Buis Wisman. He worked with the US Air Force as an Aircraft Mechanic for 21 years before retiring as a Senior Master Sergeant. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He had also worked as an Industrial Mechanic in Iowa City, IA. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Mr. Wisman is survived by his sons, Aaron Wisman (Julie) of Iowa City, IA and Paul Wisman of Hattiesburg, MS; two grandsons, Chris Wisman and Tony Wisman and five great grandchildren, Tamra, Mallory, Hayley Carter and Gavin Wisman. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Ruby Wisman, two sons and a daughter.
