Elizabeth A. Griffith

Funeral services were held Thursday, December 16, 2010 at Saulters Moore Funeral Home Chapel for Mrs. Elizabeth Griffith, age 88, of Prentiss, MS who passed away December 14, 2010 at Wesley Medical Center in Hattiesburg. Interment followed at Whitesand Cemetery. Rev. Charles Burnham officiated. Pall bearers were Bobby Shivers, Larry Foster, Curtis Bridges Jr., Charles Martin, Billy Harold Bridges and Johnny Gonzales. Elizabeth Amanda Bridges Griffith was born November 19, 1922 in Jefferson Davis County. She was the daughter of Virgil L. Bridges and Readus Smith Bridges. She worked as a seamstress with New Hebron Manufacturing for many years. She was a member of Whitesand Baptist Church. Mrs. Griffith is survived by her husband, Mims Griffith of Prentiss, MS; two brothers, V. L. Bridges of Franklinton, LA and Olen Bridges of Ocean Springs, MS and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers and a sister.
