Funeral services were held Friday, December 10, 2010 at Saulters Moore Funeral Home Chapel for Mr. Tommy Wallace Sr., age 66, of New Hebron, MS who passed away December 3, 2010 in South Carolina. Interment followed at New Hope Pentecostal Cemetery. Rev. Doc Bradford officiated. Saulters Moore Funeral Service of Prentiss was in charge of arrangements. Pall bearers were Fred Sykes, Dale Watson, Chad Teater, Leslie Dickerson, Tony Sykes and Josh Sykes. Thomas Earl Wallace Sr. was born September 3, 1944 in Jackson, MS. He was the son of Robert Lee Wallace and Ruby Cherry Wallace. He owned Wallace Quickie Store in New Hebron for 5 years and worked with SPX Construction as a Superintendent. He was a member of Florence Baptist Church. Mr. Wallace is survived by his wife, Patsy Wallace of New Hebron; son, Thomas Earl Wallace Jr. of Mendenhall, MS; daughter, Shonnon Smith of New Hebron; three grandchildren; sister, Cherry Wallace of Byram, MS; half sister, Leann Sanders of Byram, MS; half brother, Kelly Wallace of Diamond Head, MS; step siblings, Janet Vail of Raymond, MS, Jill Harms of Alabaster, AL and Johnny Jacks of Commerce City, CO. He was preceded in death by his parents, his step mother, Janice Wallace and a daughter, Tanya Wallace.
