Frances Moss

Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at Saulters Moore Funeral Home Chapel for Mrs. Frances Moss, age 82, of Brookhaven, MS, formerly of the Hepzibah community, passed away November 13, 2010 at Haven Hall Personal Care Home in Brookhaven, MS. Interment followed at Hepzibah Cemetery. Rev. Howard Griffin officiated. Pall bearers were Tommy Carney, Dale Watson, David Conn, Joe Portrey. Saulters Moore Funeral Service of Prentiss was in charge of arrangements. Frances Sue Quarles Moss was born June 19, 1928 in Tennessee. She was the daughter of Herbert Quarles and Flossie Vinny Quarles. She was a Floral Designer and worked with florists in Columbia and Monticello. She was a member of Monticello Church of Christ. Mrs. Moss is survived by a son, Steve Moss of Memphis, TN; daughters, Pam Hedgepeth of Prentiss, MS and Cindi Hedgepeth of Brookhaven, MS; three grandchildren--Brad Hedgepeth, Whitney Hedgepeth and Jessie Burt; three great-grandchildren--Brady Hedgepeth, Hayes Hedgepeth and Rayni Hedgepeth; and a brother, Dave Quarles of Chattanooga, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John P. Moss, four brothers and a sister.
