Dorothy L. Little

Funeral services were held Saturday, November 13, 2010 at New Hebron Baptist Church for Mrs. Dorothy L. Little, age 87, of Vicksburg, MS who passed away November 10, 2010 at River Region Medical Center in Vicksburg, MS. Interment followed at New Hebron Cemetery. Rev. Derrick Lambert and Rev. Kent Campbell officiated. Saulters Moore Funeral Service of Prentiss was in charge of arrangements. Pall bearers were John Allen Flynt, Barney Lane, Joey Lane, Bobby Lee, Mickey Little and Joe Earl McGuffee. Dorothy Jean Little was born September 8, 1923 in New Hebron, MS. She was the daughter of Charley E. Lee and Emma Johnston Lee. She was a homemaker and member of New Hebron Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Women’s Club of New Hebron. Mrs. Little is survived by her daughter, Barbara Parrish of Lexington, MS; two sons, Tommy Little of Pearl, MS and Charlie Little of Vicksburg, MS; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Charles Little, three sisters and two brothers.
