Danny L. Temple

Funeral services were held Thursday, October 21, 2010 at Saulters Moore Funeral Home Chapel in Prentiss, MS for Mr. Danny Temple, age 56, of Prentiss, MS who passed away October 19, 2010 at his residence. Rev. L. C. Anthony officiated. Interment followed at Greens Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jamie Gill, Dusty Jenkins, Ethan Jenkins, James Earl Stephens, Jerry Raynes and Justin Jenkins Felder. Honorary Pallbearers were C. J. Jenkins, Ben Fuller and Robert Bryan Jenkins. Danny Lee Temple was born November 6, 1953 in Jefferson Davis County. He was the son of Mike Temple Jr. and Francis Jurlene Herrin. He was a carpenter for more than 40 years and was a member of Oloh Methodist Church. Mr. Temple is survived by his wife, Katherine Jenkins Temple; three sons, Daniel Temple, Wesley Temple and Kevin Temple all of Carson, MS; one brother, Larry Temple of Sumrall, MS; three sisters, Janice Prestage of Forrest, MS, Carol Dixon of Columbia, MS and Dellieun Stapleton of Pass Christian, MS; ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
