Eunice (Mathis) Kirkley

Funeral services were Monday, September 20, 2010, at Saulters-Moore Funeral Home Chapel, for Mrs. Eunice Kirkley, age 96, of Collins, MS, who died Saturday, September 18, 2010 at Magee General Hospital, Magee, MS. Rev. L. C. Anthony officiated. Interment followed in Lone Star Cemetery. Pallbearers were Tony Kirkley, Trevor Kirkley, Mike Arant, Jimmy Tingler, and Gary McRaney. Eunice Hazel Kirkley was born October 13, 1913 in Prentiss, MS. She was the daughter of Carl Mathis and Clara McRaney Mathis. She was a homemaker and a member of Lone Star Baptist Church. Mrs. Kirkley is survived by a son, Kenneth Kirkley and wife, Shirley, of Collins, Ms; a daughter, Rachel Schexnayder and husband, E.J. of Harvey, LA; 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren; two daughter-in-laws: Faye Kirkley of Mt. Olive, MS and Margie Regaud of Grand Isle, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jack Kirkley, Sr., and two sons, Jack Jr. and Johnnie Carl Kirkley.
