Linda Sue White

Funeral services were held Monday, September 20, 2010 at Greens Creek Baptist Church for Linda Sue White, age 66, of Carson, MS. Rev. Charles Lee Loftin and Rev. Wade Barnes officiated. Interment followed in Greens Creek Cemetery. Saulters-Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss handled arrangements. Pallbearers were: Wayne Hathorn, Chris Hathorn, John Stamps, Keaton Stamps, Bandy Grace, Jeffrey Polk, and Scott Polk. Honorary Pallbearers were: Glenn Dyess, Bob Sutton, Jimmy McPhail, Ricky Dyess, Jerry Dyess, David Foshee, Harold Gore, and Buddy White. Linda Sue White was born April 3, 1944 in Jefferson Davis County, MS. She was the daughter of Lawrence and Ada Dyess White. She was a member of the USM Dixie Darlings, MS FHA, and was Head Majorette at Bassfield High School. She enjoyed playing the piano. She worked at The International Trade Mart in New Orleans, LA for 14 years and also worked as manager of Factory Outlet in Columbia. Ms. White is survived by three sisters; Shirley Noto and husband, Glen, of Carson, MS, Agnes Polk of Prentiss, MS and Pam Stamps and husband John, of Carson, MS; her companion Enoch Willoughby of Carson, MS and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
