Peggy Ann Cole

Funeral services were held Wednesday, September 15, 2010, at Saulters-Moore Funeral Home Chapel, Prentiss, MS, for Mrs. Peggy Cole, age 73, of Oakvale, MS, who died Sunday, September 12, 2010 at Jefferson Davis Community Hospital in Prentiss. Rev. Tommy Broom and Rev. Eddie Myers officiated. Interment followed in Society Hill Cemetery, Oakvale, MS. Pallbearers were David Crump, Charles Crump, Tommy Langston, Randy Langston, Jimmy Long, and Doug Crump. Peggy Ann Cole was born May 13, 1937 in Alabama. She was the daughter of Thomas Crump, Sr. and Thelma Higginbotham Crump. She worked at Beacham Super Market in the 1960’s and at Columbia Academy for eight years. She was the widow of Ray Cole. Mrs. Cole is survived by one son, Dickie Cole of Monticello, MS; two daughters: Sherry Fitzhugh of Oakvale, MS and Debbie Dyess of Prentiss, MS; ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, four brothers, and one sister.
