Funeral services were held Saturday, September 11 , 2010, at Saulters-Moore Funeral Home Chapel for Mrs. Maggie Little, age 92, of Prentiss, who died Thursday, September 9, 2010 at the home of her daughter in Georgetown, MS. Dr. Randy Rich and Rev. Joe Crout officiated. Interment followed in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Simpson County, New Hebron, MS. Pallbearers were: David Bass, Stephen Bass, Joshua Bass, Todd Little, Rick Little and Herbert Ramsey. Maggie Mae Sandifer Little was born January 19, 1918 in Rankin Co., MS. She was the daughter of Tom Sandifer and Arlena Henson Sandifer. She was the widow of P.B. Little. She worked at Love’s Department Store in Prentiss for more than 20 years. At age 90, she was the oldest active member of Prentiss Baptist Church. Mrs. Little is survived by a daughter, Gail Young, and husband, Bruce of Georgetown, MS; a son Phil Little of Prentiss, MS; a brother, Lon Sandier of Pride, La; three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a granddaughter, seven brothers, and four sisters.
