Ronnie Lee Gilliam

Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at Saulters-Moore Funeral Home Chapel for Mr. Ronnie Gilliam, age 69, of Silver Creek, MS who died Saturday, August 28, 2010 at Wesley Medical Center in Hattiesburg. Rev. Jimmy Jones officiated. Ronnie Lee Gilliam was born July 15, 1941 in Mayking, Kentucky. He was the son of Willard Gilliam and Belva Holbrook Gilliam. He was an electrician and worked at Georgia Pacific on the construction crew. He was a veteran of the US Army and served in the Cuba Invasion. Mr. Gilliam is survived by his wife, Lola (Hartzog) Peavey Gilliam; Two daughters: Robin Lee Wolc of Houston, TX and Dana Sue Reed of Dallas, TX; Three step-children: Sonja Rogers, Eric Peavey and Chris Peavey, all of Silver Creek; Five sisters: Betty Loughton of Whitespur, KY, Shirley Briddick of Tecumseh, MI, Nellie Gilliam, Dianna Lynn Caudill, and Ruthie Holbrock, all of Mayking, KY; Three brothers: Roger Gilliam, David Gilliam, and Paul Gilliam, all of Mayking, KY; Seven grandchildren and Three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
