Myrtle Ruth Davis Sutton

Funeral services were held Sunday, May 23, 2010 at Saulters Moore Funeral Home Chapel in Prentiss, MS for Mrs. Myrtle Ruth Davis Sutton, age 88, of New Hebron, MS who passed away May 21, 2010 at her residence. Rev. Duane Bradford and Rev. Ken Roberts officiated. Pall bearers were Ken Sefton, Michael Sefton, Roy King, Joe Sutton, Wayne Davis and Robert Earl King. Myrtle Ruth Davis Sutton was born August 4, 1921. A native of Mississippi, she was the daughter of Willie E. Davis and Lela Ashley Davis. She worked as a Seamstress with new Hebron Manufacturing for 30 years before retiring. She was a member of New Hebron Baptist Church. Mrs. Sutton is survived by a daughter, Marilyn Sutton Sefton (Ren) of Gulfport, MS; a son, Kenneth Sutton (Debra) of New Hebron, MS; a sister, Thelma King of Raymond, MS; seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Reggie Sutton, a son, Spencer Sutton, three brothers and a sister.
