Darryl Dyess

Graveside services were held Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at Dublin Baptist Church Cemetery in Prentiss, MS for Mr. Shannon Darryl Dyess, age 48, of Wesson, MS who passed away May 10, 2010 at his residence. Rev. Robert Cooper and Rev. Robert Sones officiated. Pall bearers were Austin Hamilton, Mason Dyess, Colby Dyess, Gordon Cole, Joe Bullock and Guy Easterling. Mr. Shannon Darryl Dyess was born April 29, 1962 in Prentiss, MS. He was the son of Shannon N. Dyess and Yvonne Easterling Thurman. He worked in Pipeline Construction for a number of years and recently was a Foreman with Superior Welding of Brookhaven. He was a member of Dublin Baptist Church. Mr. Dyess is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Dyess of Wesson; stepson, Keith Davis (Anna) of Wesson; stepdaughters, Anna Walker (Jonathan) and Ashley Wood (Rusty) all of Wesson; his father, Shannon Dyess (Foye) of Bassfield; his mother, Yvonne Thurman of Prentiss; sister, Wanda Hamilton (Danny) of Prentiss; brothers, Tony Dyess (Melanie) of Mandeville, LA and Danny Dyess (Tracey) of Carson and four grandchildren.
