Sarah Elizabeth "Bess" Terrell

Funeral services were held Monday, April 19, 2010 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Bassfield, MS for Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth “Bess” Terrell, age 95, of Bassfield, MS who passed away April 15, 2010 at her residence in Bassfield. Interment followed at St. James Cemetery. Pall bearers were Johnnie Brien, Clark Brien, Greg Brien, Joseph Rulh III, James Terrell, Jerry Terrell and Johnny O’Connell. Mrs. Bess Terrell was born on October 6, 1914 in Bassfield, MS. She was the daughter of Reed Clark and Katie Kerley Clark. A native of Jefferson Davis County, she was a homemaker and a member of St. Peter‘s Catholic Church. Mrs. Terrell is survived by her daughter, Pam Graves and husband, Robert of Bassfield; a sister, Thelma Munday of Kenner, LA; a brother, William “Billy” Clark of Kenner, LA; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, John Terrell.
