Clara Ruth Graves

Funeral services were held Monday, March 8, 2010 at Santee Methodist Church in Prentiss, MS for Mrs. Clara Ruth Graves, age 67, of Bassfield, MS who passed away March 6, 2010 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg. Internment followed at Santee Methodist Cemetery. Rev. Glen Howell officiated. Pall bearers were Gary Smith, Kent Smith, Perry Fortenberry, Leffie Graves, Bo McNease and Joey Graves. Clara Ruth Graves was born on August 22, 1942 in Jefferson Davis County. She was the daughter of Carley Smith & Lucille Carraway Smith. She was a homemaker and a member of Santee Methodist Church. Mrs. Graves is survived by her husband, Gene Graves of Bassfield; two sons, Glenn Graves and Hilton Graves both of Bassfield; two sisters, Mary Smith of Kinston, NC and Doris Bouchillon of Bassfield; four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and a sister.
