Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, March 7, 2010 at Saulters Moore Funeral Home Chapel in Prentiss, MS with interment to follow at Anderson Cemetery for Mrs. Annie H. Anderson, age 100, of Bassfield, MS who passed away Thursday, March 4, 2010 at Wesley Medical Center in Hattiesburg, MS. Visitation will be Saturday, March 6, 2010 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Saulters Moore Funeral Home in Prentiss, MS. Mrs. Annie Maude Anderson was born on April 2, 1909 in Sumrall, Mississippi. She was the daughter of William Hudson and Cora Goar Hudson. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Extension Homemakers Club and Pine Ridge Baptist Church of Sumrall. Mrs. Anderson is survived by her nine children, Joyce Martin (Kennith) of Lenoir City, TN, Kelton Anderson (Myrtle) of Starkville, MS, John L. Anderson (Louise) of Columbia, MS, Kermit Anderson (Jerri) of Purvis, MS, Eugene Anderson (Carlene) of Sumrall, MS, Cecil Anderson (Vivian) of Bassfield, MS, Hershel Anderson (Jo) of Columbia, MS, David Anderson (Lynette) of Sumrall, MS, Danny Anderson (Judy) of Hattiesburg, MS; thirty three grandchildren, sixty eight great grandchildren and eleven great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Vardaman Hudson of Sumrall, MS and Charles Hudson of Tecumseh, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Hulon E. Anderson, eight brothers, one sister, one grandchild and one great grandchild.
