Dorothy C Herrington

Funeral services were held Friday, March 5, 2010 at Saulters Moore Funeral Home Chapel in Prentiss, MS for Mrs. Dorothy Herrington, age 73, of New Hebron who passed away March 2, 2010 at her residence. Internment followed at Cliburn Cemetery. Rev. Ron Ballard and Rev. Charles Guy officiated. Pall bearers were Randy Barnett, Joshua Herrington, Joshua Turnage, Jim Barnett, Ricky Barnett and Shannon Reynolds. Dorothy Dale Herrington was born on September 7, 1936 in Jefferson Davis County. She was the daughter of Richard Clark and Azaline Dye Clark. She was a talented seamstress. She had worked for more than 40 years with Edward Hyman Manufacturing and later, KLH Industries. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church. Mrs. Herrington is survived by her husband, Clifton “Peewee” Herrington of New Hebron; two brothers, Herman Clark of Pass Christian, MS and Vince Clark of Victoria, TX; one sister, Helen Hode of Gulfport, MS; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, four children, two brothers and a grandson.
