Minnie Evelyn Clark Funeral Mass was held Thursday, February 18, 2010 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Bassfield, MS for Mrs. Minnie Evelyn Clark, age 79, of Metairie, LA who died Monday, February 15, 2010 at East Jefferson General Hospital in Metairie, LA. Father Eappen Joseph officiated. Interment followed at St. James Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jimmy Giovingo, Jeffery Kahoe, Jacob Miles, Paul Kahoe, Jason Mancuso, and Forrest Clark. Mrs. Minnie Evelyn Clark was born in Madison, NC and was a resident of Metairie, Louisiana for 44 years. She was the beloved wife and best friend of William Albert Clark of Bassfield, Mississippi and loving mother to Peggy Clark Kahoe, Cecilia Clark Mancuso Johnson, William "Bert" Clark and Daniel Forrest Clark. She is survived by eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren and sisters, Frances Price, Josephine Gunter and Marie Cox. Evelyn will be remembered by many for her gentle, kind, sweet and loving nature.
