Harold L Myers

Funeral services were held Friday, January 29, 2010 at Bethany Baptist Church in Prentiss, MS for Mr. Harold Lavelle Myers, age 74, who passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at Community Specialty Hospital in Lafayette, LA. Interment followed in Bethany Cemetery. Rev. L.C. Anthony and Rev. Larry Joe Thompson officiated. Pallbearers were Anthony Myers, Jimmy Myers, David Ballard, Garren I. Smith, Jamie Sandifer, Andre McRaney and Eric C. Myers. Mr. Myers was born on November 19, 1935 in New Hebron, Mississippi. He was the son of Reggie Lee Myers and Allene Henderson Myers. He was a Plumber and worked for the town of Prentiss. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Sarah Martha Myers of Monticello; two sons, Tony Myers of Taylorsville and Reggie Lavelle Myers of Prentiss; two daughters Nina Sandifer of Prentiss and Wren Foster of Carson; his mother, Mary Allene Myers of Collins and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father and three sisters.
