Frank O. Edmonds

Funeral services were held Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at Old Silver Creek Baptist Church in Silver Creek, MS for Mr. Frank O. Edmonds, age 70, of Silver Creek, MS who passed away December 13, 2009 at Wesley Medical Center in Hattiesburg. Internment followed at Old Silver Creek Cemetery in Silver Creek. Rev. Richard Green and Rev. Daryl Daniels officiated. Pall bearers were James Sanders, Alfred Speights, Mike Stamps, Tim Watson, Butch McBrayer and Dean Butler. Mr. Frank O. Edmonds was born on October 21, 1939 in Kemper County, Mississippi. He was the son of Willie Edmonds and Vera Persons Edmonds. He retired after 31 years from Georgia Pacific Corporation as a Wood Yard Operator. He was a member of Old Silver Creek Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Lee Edmonds of Silver Creek; a son, Greg Edmonds of Prentiss; three sisters, Vista Bailey of Geraldine, AL, Joyce Catlett of Moss Point, MS and Mary Alice Brown of Bailey, MS; half brother, Larry Edmonds of Scooba, MS; step-mother, Beatrice Edmonds of Scooba, MS; one grandson, Austin Tanner Edmonds of Brookhaven, MS and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
