Teresa Marie Lord

Funeral services were held Monday, November 30, 2009 at Saulters-Moore Funeral Home Chapel in Prentiss, MS for Mrs. Teresa Marie Lord, age 58, of Monticello, who died Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. Interment followed in the Cliburn Cemetery. Rev. Louie Moore and Rev. Chad Carney officiated. Pallbearers were Pete Moran, Tommy Lord, Gerald Lord, Jimmy Turner, Tommy Rutland and Gary Jordan. Mrs. Lord was born on July 13, 1951 in Detroit, Michigan. She was the daughter of Howard Herrington, Jr. and Elza Mae Dampier Gray. Mrs. Lord worked for Michigan National Bank for 15 years. She later served as a Justice Court Clerk in Lawrence County for 5 years. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Monticello. Mrs. Lord is survived by her husband, Daniel Lord of Monticello; her mother, Elza Mae Gray of Monticello; two step-sons, Anthony Lord of Brandon and Jason Lord of Ridgeland; two step-daughters, Brandi Lord Shows of Brandon and Tanya Lord Wallace of Houston, TX; three brothers, Paul Kendall Herrington of Monticello, David Kinsman of McCalla, AL and Dennis Herrington of Las Vegas, NV; one sister, Wanda McLaughlin of Hesperia, CA; 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father.
