Margaret Jane Prestridge

Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Jane Prestridge will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 3, 2018, at the Old Hebron Baptist Church. Mrs. Prestridge, 63, passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2018, in Jackson. Reverend Terry Phillips and Reverend Ray Hodges will officiate and interment will be in the New Hebron Cemetery. Saulters Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be; Scott Hunt, Charles Welch, Charlie Mullins, Anthony Hunt, Casey Hunt and Cameron Welch. Honorary pallbearers will be; Bryce Prestridge, Jonathan Prestridge, Brett Prestridge and Brantley Prestridge. Margaret Prestridge was born September 22, 1954, in Lawrence County to Charles Edward “Rusty” Mullins and Sippie Dampeer Mullins. Mrs. Prestridge was a homemaker. She was an active member of the Old Hebron Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her mother and father and 1 brother, Jerry Mullins. Mrs. Prestridge is survived by; her husband of 43 years, John A. Prestridge, Jr. of New Hebron; 1 daughter, Kayla (Andrew) Terry; 3 sons, Dereck (Shantel) Prestridge of Jayess, Charles (Kayla Ann) Prestridge of Florence, Joe Prestridge of New Hebron; 1 sister, Gladys (Ray) Hodges of Silver Creek; 1 sister-in-law, Betty Jo Mullins of New Hebron; 2 brothers, William (Marylin) Mullins of New Hebron and Charlie (Truly) Mullins of Silver Creek; 8 grandchildren, Bryce Prestridge, Jonathan Prestridge, Brett Prestridge, Brantley Prestridge, Chloe Prestridge, Hayden Keenum, Isabella Prestridge and Miranda Terry.
